Our apologies to anyone that has been incovenienced over the last two weeks by the effect that the Fairport Festival has had on the normal routine of the Red Lion, eg Menu changes. We are now back to normal

The Red Lion has been re-awarded 'The Cask Marque Award' for excellence in the service of cask ale. Awarded to the licensee rather than to the pub. It is jointly funded by brewers and retailers.

Hours of opening

Mon, Wed, Thurs 6.00pm till 11.00pm

Tues 5.30pm till 11.00pm

Fri 5.30pm up to midnight

Saturday 12.00 till 3.30pm 6.00pm up to midnight

Sunday 12.00 till 3.30pm 6.30pm till 10.30pm

Please note that since the 2003 licensing law took effect in November 2005, there is no such thing as "drinking up time". The pub will close half an hour after the latest time shown above with all guests having left and the front door being locked.
